I Need Your Help...

Okay Blogland Friends...

I am absolutely, completely, thoroughly, wholly OUT of creative mojo.  Perhaps, if all of you could send me about a penny's worth of YOUR mojo, it might amount to enough mojo to jump start  me back into creating.   Please?

Shoot me some Tinkerbell dust to give me that Happy Thought that will start my imagination a'flyin'.

Or, send me a  quote.  Quotes always help me out.  As long as they're creatively inspiring.

Or...  well... see?  I'm not creative enough to even figure out what creative thoughts you could send me that might help!

Totally barren here.

It's truly bummin' me out!

I mean, I seriously have enough products to open up a decent sized store...  or a very long-running yard sale.  All there. All mine for the pickin'. Just... right... within...reach!

But I don't wanna pick!

*sigh*

See?  Seriously bummed.

Help!   Help?  I need my online crafty clan now... shoot me some vibes, any ol' creative vibes.

I'll be waiting...

*grin*  (and thanks!)

  1. This won't do. What's the matter with you? All it takes is faith and trust. Oh! And something I forgot.
    Dust!
    Dust?
Yep, just a little bit of pixie dust. Now, think of the happiest things. It's the same as having wings.

  2. Naughty naughty Mojo perhaps this will give it a kick up the proverbial

I have an ongoing project to record all the little treasures I have in my home I give each one a page of its own with details of why it's a treasure and decorate it as befits. A sort of catalogue of treasures belonging to a scrapbooker.

I think there is a quote somewhere that says something along these lines "keep nothing that you do not find useful or ornamental."

  3. Yes Mary, it's a William Morris quote - "Have nothing in your homes that you do not know to be useful and believe to be beautiful."

Kai, have you tried the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog? I found them quite inspiring recently. They take a current Scrap Kit, from an online shop/site etc and "Counterfeit" it, using their own stash; then their various Team members or Guests will make stuff with the kit. Throughout each month, they have various challenges and idea posts. It's lovely to look through and maybe you'll get an idea or two. http://counterfeitkitchallenge.blogspot.com/

Or try Shimelle's sketch challenges, that she's been publishing. I find that a sketch can sometimes give me a push (or kick!) in the right direction. http://www.shimelle.com/

Hope you find that Mojo soon. Maybe you could scrap about it being "lost"?!

  4. I like Lizzie's idea! "Lost - my creative energy. Answers to the name of "Mojo". Reward if returned safely...." You could have fun doing a no photo layout just playing with some product. Pick one or two of those items you've been avoiding and go to town!

I've also read that if you write down (like in a journal or on notebook paper) all the crap that is in your head - everything that is bothering/frustrating/blocking you, that it will make space for Mojo to return.
