About me? What about me? I love to write and tell a good story, which is why this piece of me is here. Otherwise you can find me with my family and "zoo", scrapbooking/cardmaking a little or working a lot. I hope to someday swap those two things around. Want to know more?
Okay, some more tidbits about me:
I've worked multiple jobs for over ten years now, for a variety of reasons. I work a full-time day job, my bread and butter, as a technology training and development manager plus as a web content manager for a company that provides supports to people with developmental disabilities. By night (and weekends), I spend time providing a variety of supports for the online kit club and community Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. You will find me over on their blog sharing the design team's tutorials and a few other anecdotes as well as on the community boards, where I'm always hanging out. Please come visit us! Most recently, I have found a direct sales position as a consultant for Tealightful Inc. Like tea, scones, dips and more? Give me a shout!
Some other tidbits about me:
I have other "hobbies"... I read - mostly only fiction, I play online games (MMORPGs), I play RPGs (yeah, that's the geek coming out in me), I enjoy walking and experiencing nature, especially skies, forests and bodies of fresh water. I like the ocean, but I don't love the ocean. I find pleasure in snow and winter weather. I love animals, especially cats and dogs, but other animals as well. The wolf is my spirit animal. I think. She has been in my life for as long as I can remember in one way or another, anyway. Really? I just call the wolf my spirit animal because it sounds good, I'm not sure what it actually means. Do you? Please, enlighten me. I enjoy all kinds of music but am partial to 60's, 70's and 80's, although I have eclectic tastes and cross almost all genres. I love Monopoly but I rarely win. The Monkees make me happy. If you know who The Monkees are, that makes me happy too. Oh, and I hate being hot.
I blog because I like to write. Scrapbooking is a way to develop the story in another direction. And over the past year I've learned that I'm a lot more creative than I think I am... and I'm expanding that into different directions. So.... look around and see what you can see... and share with me a little bit about yourself with a comment. I love to know who stops by to visit!
Hi there Kai! I discovered your blog during the Soul Restoration blog hop. I just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying it. I love your honesty, your story telling and how you are not afraid to put yourself out there... so very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being REAL, it is so seldom found these days. :)
I certainly know who the Monkees are. When I was about 10 I joined their fan club and they had a scheme where they matched fans up as pen pals. I was matched with a girl from Chicago (I live in the UK) and over 40 years later we are still writing to each other!
